Further notes and links
Molten Core lies beneath Blackrock Depths. In Classic lore, it is the domain of the Firelord Ragnaros and his elemental servants.
The regular Classic entrance through the portal in Blackrock Depths requires no attunement quest.
The Classic quest “Attunement to the Core” unlocks the shortcut through Lothos Riftwaker. Quest ID: 7848.
These Classic access details have not yet been confirmed for WoW Forever.
Its origins are tied to Thaurissan’s summoning during the dwarven civil war. The conflict in the mountain continues that past: the power of fire affects the Dark Iron dwarves and their enemies.
