Choose race and faction before starting
Skyborne require the appropriate Forever upgrade, starting with the Heroic Edition, alongside the required game time. Zephras is their level 1–12 starting experience; that is its intended range, not a guarantee that every character leaves at exactly level 12.
Choose your faction at character creation. Both sides offer Warrior, Hunter, Rogue and Druid. Alliance also has Mage, while Horde has Shaman. Agree on the faction with friends first.
Your first three quests in Thendal Grove
Start with Coming of Age from Ailee Farheart and speak to Rorian the Dayseeker. They stand close together: Ailee at 42.81/23.37 and Rorian at 42.05/23.49.
After handing it in, take Harmony in Balance from Rorian and Infestation Investigation from Elatrell Featherlight. One asks for eight Vuldren Juveniles, the other for eight Pesky Cirrusflies. Accept both before making your circuit of the grove.

Combine training and rest in the village
Several useful services sit close together around 43/44. Coriella Calmbreeze at 43.01/43.23 is the innkeeper. Zerril Softbreeze at 43.85/43.84 teaches Cooking, and Taleen Shimmerthread at 44.88/44.18 teaches Tailoring. For Fishing, visit Fenn Fairweather at 45.02/48.44.
Combine selling and training in one visit. You do not need every profession immediately. Tailoring is useful if you want to make bags; Fishing and Cooking can complement your travels.
