Beta & Live Q&A · WORLD OF WARCRAFT: FOREVER
WoW Forever live Q&A and beta launch on September 17
The WoW Forever part of tonight’s live Q&A begins at about 19:30 CEST. The level-30 beta is due to open immediately afterwards.

The Forever Q&A begins at about 19:30 CEST
Blizzard will broadcast its World of Warcraft live Q&A on September 17 through the official Warcraft channels. The modern WoW segment begins at 19:00 CEST, followed by World of Warcraft: Forever at about 19:30 CEST. Blizzard says the Forever beta will open directly after that Q&A. The 19:30 time is therefore a guide for the start of the Forever programme, not a guaranteed minute for the test servers to open.
The first beta phase reaches level 30
The announced test period runs from September 17 through October 22, 2026 and initially caps characters at level 30. Early quest design, classes and talents, professions, new routes through the revised zones and the stability of the shared world should therefore take centre stage. The full game launches globally on November 4 at 15:00 PST, which is midnight CET on November 5.
How beta access works
Blizzard lists guaranteed beta access with the Skyborne Epic Pack and the limited Warcraft Forever Collection. Normal access to WoW Forever at launch is instead included with an active World of Warcraft subscription or game time. An optional upgrade pack is therefore not required to play Forever at its regular launch.
The subjects most likely to matter in the Q&A
Blizzard has not published a complete list of questions. Natural areas for clarification include beta invitations and test phases, rulesets and language preferences, class changes, new race and class combinations, the Legacy system, Camping, professions and the post-launch update cadence. How beta feedback will influence development is also likely to matter. These are expected subjects based on the announcements so far, not a confirmed agenda.
What is already confirmed before the broadcast
Forever is intended to remain as a permanent third World of Warcraft experience alongside modern WoW and Classic. Blizzard has announced a level 1–60 journey, new regions, more than 1,000 new quests, nine dungeons, two raids and the Skyborne as a new playable race. Revised classes and talents, optional transmogrification, SD and HD character models and official controller support are also planned.
Important details remain unanswered
The precise invitation schedule, possible maintenance windows, complete beta patch notes and the content available in each test phase remain unclear. Claims about class balance or dominant talent builds would also be premature before meaningful testing. Beta progress does not normally carry into a full release, but an explicit statement from Blizzard should be awaited for Forever.
The real examination begins after the Q&A
What matters is not only what Blizzard says during the broadcast, but what is actually playable in the beta client. We will compare new statements with the live test and keep confirmed information, provisional values and later changes clearly separated. That makes it possible to see what is settled for launch and what may still change before November.
