Match the material to your profession
Copper Ore comes from Copper Veins and belongs to Mining. Peacebloom requires Herbalism. First check that you have learned the appropriate profession and meet the requirement displayed on the node. Character level determines the dangers you face along the way; it does not replace profession skill. These maps deliberately focus on early materials instead of promising one perfect zone for every level.
Alliance: start around Goldshire
Use Goldshire as your departure and return point. Combine nearby quests with detours towards the marked Peacebloom and Copper Veins. The farms south of town and the adjoining roads are enough for a first circuit. Prioritise accessible nodes. A crowded mine or slope full of enemies is not worth a detour simply because a resource icon is shown there.

Horde: work outward from Razor Hill
Razor Hill is a convenient Durotar starting point. Begin with a short section along the roads south of town and return before your bags fill. The map shows selected herb and copper positions in that area. Follow the terrain rather than a straight line. If a node requires crossing a ravine or fighting several enemies, move to the next accessible stop.

Map markers are possible locations
A marker means a node was recorded at that location. It does not mean the node is currently present or unclaimed. Check the landscape and the object when you arrive. If nothing is there, continue. Do not stand beside an empty marker waiting for an invented timer. Several easy detours are usually more pleasant than racing another player to the same spot.
Change plans when competition is heavy
If a stretch has only empty locations, complete a quest or try another part of your circuit. Dun Morogh also has records for both materials for Alliance players; Mulgore is an option for Horde. Account for the journey: moving across the world is not automatically worthwhile for a few herbs. An alternative zone offers another choice, not a guarantee of better results.
Reserve what you need before selling
Peacebloom is used in Minor Mana Potion, for example. Copper can be processed into bars for early Blacksmithing recipes such as Copper Chain Belt. Open the actual recipe before selling your whole stock. Ore and bars are different market goods. Compare their current prices and processing requirements instead of automatically smelting everything.
Finish with a useful record
Note your start and finish, the amount collected and major interruptions. This tells you whether the trip suits your play style. Compare two of your own circuits before judging a route. Keep sales separate: a stack in your inventory is not realised profit. Reserve needed supplies and sell the remainder only after checking current prices.
