The main gate is west of Kharanos in Dun Morogh. Alliance players should visit Tinker Town in Ironforge first. For the Horde, stop at Nogg and Sovik in Orgrimmar: Scooty’s transponder in Booty Bay saves you the march through Alliance territory.

Use the Empty Leaden Collection Phial on Irradiated Invaders or Irradiated Pillagers to collect radioactive fallout. Once it is full, take it back to Ozzie Togglevolt in Kharanos.

Dark Iron agents inside can drop the ring. Start the quest from your bag and take it to a Sparklematic in the Clean Zone.
Figure out a way to remove the grime from the Grime-Encrusted Ring.
The Sparklematic 5200!
Pick it up from: Sparklematic 5200, Clean Zone inside Gnomeregan
The machines are in Gnomeregan’s Clean Zone. Bring a grime-encrusted object and three silver per cleaning.
Insert a Grime-Encrusted Item into the Sparklematic 5200, and be sure to have three silver coins to start the machine.
A Fine Mess
Pick it up from: Kernobee, in a cell inside Gnomeregan
Clear the way back before opening Kernobee’s cell. Escort him to the exit and turn the quest in later in Booty Bay.
Escort Kernobee to the Clockwerk Run exit and then report to Scooty in Booty Bay.
The Grand Betrayal
Pick it up from: High Tinker Mekkatorque · Ironforge · 68.8 / 49
Venture to Gnomeregan and kill Mekgineer Thermaplugg. Return to High Tinker Mekkatorque when the task is complete.
Rig Wars
Pick it up from: Nogg · Orgrimmar · 76 / 25.4
Accept Nogg’s job, then ask Sovik next to him about travel. After Thermaplugg, open the safe for the blueprints.
Retrieve the Rig Blueprints and Thermaplugg's Safe Combination from Gnomeregan and bring them to Nogg in Orgrimmar.

Before the first pull
Level 14: detour for a bag?
If you keep leaving loot behind, start the sleeping bag chain at the charred remains in Westfall (Alliance) or the Barrens (Horde). You can pick up a 12-slot bag at the Stepping Stones stop in Stonetalon Mountains. The Cosy Sleeping Bag itself comes at the end. If your group is already at the portal, save the detour for later.

An Herb Baked Egg is enough for your first run. Sit and eat for at least ten seconds: Well Fed gives you 1 Stamina and 5% more experience from kills for 15 minutes. It won’t increase quest turn-in XP. Pack a spare egg in case the group wipes.
