The selection below covers three concrete Alchemy and Enchanting recipes. Check your skill before travelling. Buying a recipe does not raise your profession by itself: learn it, then perform the relevant craft.

Visit Ulthir in Darnassus for the Superior Mana Potion recipe. Soolie Berryfizz in Ironforge sells the Elixir of Superior Defense recipe. Dalria in Ashenvale is listed for the strength formula. Combine shopping with a trainer or bank visit you already need.

Horde: Undercity, Orgrimmar and Stonetalon
Algernon in Undercity sells the Superior Mana Potion recipe. Kor’geld in Orgrimmar is the stop for the defence elixir recipe. Kulwia in Stonetalon Mountains sells the strength formula. Maps show recorded vendor positions, not the stock currently available.

Separate base and market prices
The table gives the recipe item’s base purchase price from game data. The actual vendor window may show a different payable amount, for example due to a price change or reputation discount. An Auction House price is a separate player offer.
If the recipe is unavailable
A vendor may temporarily have no copies. Check the vendor and exact recipe name first. Do not plan around a fixed restock timer. Decide whether to return later, use another leveling recipe or pay extra for a tradable copy.
Check binding before buying at auction
The three listed recipe items are unbound in the underlying data. Do not assume this applies to every pattern or schematic: some must be acquired directly on the intended character. Read the actual tooltip before spending money or travel time.

Learn the recipe on the right character. Open its calculator and check ingredients, stock and missing prices. Buy only what you need for the next stage.
