Choose your demon for the ability the next fight needs. Watch its route and call it back when necessary. If you use Soul Link, keep your demon active to benefit from it.
Agree on the main target and your interrupts before the pull. Check which enemies will be controlled, and wait for secure tank threat before starting area damage.
Choose demon utility for the assignment.
Keep the pet alive and on the right target.
Resolve summoning and sacrifice before the damage window.
Deal with dangerous enemies first. A stopped cast and a controlled enemy left untouched often help more than extra area damage.
Use a defensive before predictable damage. Offensive cooldowns pay off when the target will live long enough and you can safely keep attacking.
Choose hit chance and spell power for the targets you fight. Bring enough Mana for the encounter and judge critical strikes through the talents you use.

Save your strong attacks for time you can actually hit the boss. When an important add appears, prepare your next actions for that target.
Check target switches and movement before the fight. Plan offensive abilities for time you can spend attacking, and let the tank establish the pull.
Demonic Sacrifice and Demonic Pact have specific combinations: Pact preserves a sacrifice when summoning a different demon, not when resummoning the sacrificed one.
Plan the choice before pulling.
Switch to an important add even when your rotation is going well. Prepare resources for the switch and use downtime to find a better position.
Use offensive abilities during reliable attack time. Reconsider if you are about to move away from the target. Keep an appropriate defensive ready for predictable damage.

Attack with your team and keep a way back. Line up damage and control so a good opening is not wasted on a target you cannot reach or one using strong defenses.
Pick a shared target and agree on control. Engage when your team can follow, and keep a position your healer can still reach.
Watch demon health as closely as your position.
Keep Fel Domination for a planned replacement; losing the demon can cost both protection and control.
Watch the enemy’s control and defensive abilities. A target switch or helping your healer can do more than continuing to hit the best-protected enemy.
Commit offensive abilities when control and range let you attack. Keep a defensive answer for the counterattack and adjust when the enemy uses protection.
