How the experience bonus works

The Cozy Sleeping Bag rewards a short break. Each full minute of rest adds one stack of 1% extra experience; three minutes gives you all three stacks. Check the buff before setting off again. You keep the sleeping bag and can reuse it after its one-hour item cooldown. There is no need to repeat the quest chain each time you want to use it.

When the journey is worth making

We would pick it up while there are still plenty of levels ahead, ideally combining the trip with flight paths or quests along the way. The bonus is modest, but the reward is reusable. Crossing Azeroth solely for one short leveling session would be a lower priority. Treat the hunt as its own outing, or plan it with your group rather than squeezing it between other tasks.

The first note takes you across both continents

The chain opens at level 14 with “… and that note you found”. Alliance and Horde start at different Burned-Out Remains, then visit the other faction’s starting location. Both routes continue through Stonetalon Mountains and Loch Modan before reaching Thoradin’s Wall. The linked guide has the full order, individual quest names and clickable maps for every stop.

Prepare before you leave

Level 14 unlocks the chain; it does not make every leg of the journey safe. You will pass stronger enemies and opposing faction guards. Leave space in your bags, unlock useful flight paths and plan your crossing between the continents. At each turn-in, accept the next quest before moving on. That simple check can save a long return trip.

Collect the reward and use it properly

The final quest awards the Cozy Sleeping Bag and five Student Fodder. In WoW Forever, Student Fodder helps restore health and resources; it is not a supply of rested experience. Check that the sleeping bag is in your inventory before climbing down from the wall.

Deploy it outside rested areas, away from cities and inns. Stand still on the bag and your character will lie down automatically. Party members can use the deployed sleeping bag too, making a shared rest stop a useful part of a longer journey.
