Content
Place your traps before the fight. You can have a Fire Trap and an Ice Trap active at once, but keep their jobs separate: damage must not break the enemy you want to hold in place.
Agree on the main target and your interrupts before the pull. Check which enemies will be controlled, and wait for secure tank threat before starting area damage.
Separate control and damage traps.
Use melee tools to regain space when pressured.
Restore a safe range and resume shooting.
Deal with dangerous enemies first. A stopped cast and a controlled enemy left untouched often help more than extra area damage.
Use a defensive before predictable damage. Offensive cooldowns pay off when the target will live long enough and you can safely keep attacking.
Choose a suitable weapon, reliable hit chance and useful attack stats. Consider your pet’s contribution alongside your own shots.
Content
Save your strong attacks for time you can actually hit the boss. When an important add appears, prepare your next actions for that target.
Check target switches and movement before the fight. Plan offensive abilities for time you can spend attacking, and let the tank establish the pull.
Enter melee only when mechanics and your assignment allow it.
Use traps and Lacerating Strikes on reachable targets that live long enough without pulling extra packs.
Switch to an important add even when your rotation is going well. Prepare resources for the switch and use downtime to find a better position.
Use offensive abilities during reliable attack time. Reconsider if you are about to move away from the target. Keep an appropriate defensive ready for predictable damage.

Attack with your team and keep a way back. Line up damage and control so a good opening is not wasted on a target you cannot reach or one using strong defenses.
Pick a shared target and agree on control. Engage when your team can follow, and keep a position your healer can still reach.
Deterrence, Counterattack and Strider Kick create space.
Strider Kick remains usable while disarmed; place traps for escape routes and pursuers.
Watch the enemy’s control and defensive abilities. A target switch or helping your healer can do more than continuing to hit the best-protected enemy.
Commit offensive abilities when control and range let you attack. Keep a defensive answer for the counterattack and adjust when the enemy uses protection.
